IMO the Matrix sequels are amazing when viewed as one film, as Revolutions is just the ending of everything set up in Reloaded. The more I re-watch them, the more I feel they've aged remarkably well and were so ahead of their time.

As a kid, I sided with Hogan on the Elizabeth issue. But as an adult, I’ve always 100% been with Macho Man. Hogan should never grabbing any man’s wife like he was regularly doing

I don't think Steven Spielberg understands the impact Hook (1991) has on kids

I think I'm addicted to videos of people driving in the rain

A pluviophile is one who loves rain. Steaming from Pluvial meaning "Of or relating to rain" and -Phile meaning "denoting fondness for a specified thing" Were a small community, likely due to our hard to spell nature. /r/raining is another great rain-centric subreddit

In the Dark Knight Rises (2012), if you listen closely, bats can be heard squeaking throughout the scene as the doctor is discussing fear with Bruce Wayne. These same bats are then revealed in the following scene as Bruce is climbing the walls to become Batman again.

The last shot of Mad Max 2 is maybe the most epic image I’ve ever seen in film/mythology in general. It’s such a perfect finale to what’s already an amazing film

IMO this scene in MM1 is legitimately horrifying and realistic. (Especially when it suddenly dawns on the couple that the Toecutter’s men aren’t just messing around, but they’re actual murderers.)

The Witch is the closest film I’ve ever seen match The Name of the Rose’s (1986) horror atmosphere that makes you actually feel like you’re in the distant past (13th century)
