I've been to Ixian grand last year and have rebooked for this year too we loved it thay much. I'd upgrade your room to have the spa bath- was an amazing experience. Wonderful hotel, great staff and the some of the entertainment options in the evening are fantastic. Your entitled to one a la cart meal during your stay - but we didn't rate it to be honest. Much preferred the buffet, your in a suite you have the option of your breakfast and dinners in their sushi area and other restaurants they have. (Which we didn't do) The beach is rocky however to get into the sea - be warned! But sandy when you're in there. There's a shuttle bus to Lindos and Rhodes Old town (Lindos €8 return and €6 for old town... if I remember rightly).

Il Borgo is stunning! The location is to die for ! Annoying I can't ass pictures.

Il Borgo is very good but don't try it without reservations. Their other place in new town "Casa Il Borgo" (111 Amerikis) is better as they have a larger kitchen and less crowded - no reservations required.
