Is the so called recruiting crisis affecting the Coast Guard?

Supposedly all branches except the Marines are struggling to meet numbers. I always assumed the CG was similar in that they’re already very small and typically refuse to lower standards for recruits. How is the recruiting crisis affecting the CG & has the service gotten easier to join?
