[japanese to english] can someone help translate this?
Hello everyone, i hope everyone is alright. This is my first post here and its gonna be a little iffy but please just help me out.
So i found this random Japanese urban legend website and I stumbled upon a “game/curse” where you have to look around your room corners and chant something three times all while imagining a woman in a white kimono drenched in blood.
Whats interesting is no one has been able to figure out what the chant means or what its translated to?
This is what the chant is: “3. Then cross your arms on your chest and chant "On-beiro-kya-mashironi-sowaka**" three times.”
Apparently this is what it is in japanese: んべいろきゃましろにそわか
I found a page where it said the game thing was complete bs since there’s no actual correlation to practices in this ritual. And that the chant/mantra was a portion of a mantra for Vaiśravana, the Buddhist guardian of the North? Something like that
Have anyone else heard of it? Please help and help translate this. Also is anyone also willing to try it out for me? I could possibly send compensation. I know it might just be a silly kids game but it’s been keeping me paranoid.
