[TOMT] What is this song???

This is a long shot but there is this song I just remembered listening to years ago, an animatic was made to this song that I watched a lot.

The song is about a woman being abused by a man in Louisiana and the woman is singing it. She sings about what he does and how she dreams about going across the (Louisiana) river to safety.

I know there is something about a hound that she takes the chain off of and he lets loose and the guy runs after the dog and she tries to run across the river and she makes it but he got across the river ahead of her and she sees him and gets scared.

And then she tries to go back across the river or something but he gets ahold of her and somehow she drowns in the river.

Then it kinda jokes about how he feels warm in his bed even without her beside him and then it's like "Oh, In fact it's boiling hot" and the song really picks up at that point and the woman (as a ghost) comes through the window and scares him and talks about haunting him to his death.

I can see some scenes of the animatic very clearly, I feel like I remember most of the animatic having a purple background with mostly black/grey lineart and the part where she reaches the other side of the river has a gold/lighter background.
