Why Carm lost all her money
In S1 episode 10, "A Hit is a Hit", Tony goes golfing with his neighbor and his insider trading white collar criminals who are so fucking rude, they don't even want to share their insider trading info with Tony. In another scene their wives are chatting with Carmela about the stock market. The ladies mention American Biotics. Now if you're familiar with trading and the stock market, pharmaceutical and biotech companies are notorious for being extremely risky and volatile. Of course Carmela doesn't know this at all and puts ALL THE MONEY into ONE risky investment LOL, for the amount of time she watches cnbc, it's amazing how little she paid attention to diversification. Anyway, now that I've been trading for a few years, it finally dawned on me that this was yet another genius storyline that people might not realize how authentic it was. I've said my piece.
