Series where characters have lived for centuries?

Hey all, so this is a bit of an odd one. I recently rewatched True Blood and as goofy as it is, I found the concept of the vampire characters being alive for centuries and showing flashbacks of different periods in history really interesting. There was also an episode of The Sandman where 2 characters would meet at the same pub every 100 years from the Middle Ages - modern times which was fascinating. Looking for any kind of similar themes in a series
