Something doesn't add up here.
So, the Fight for Pyro event was shorter than I expected, considering we already got our rewards after just Phase 2. But the rewards aren't what puzzles me, it is the lore.
In Save Stanton, the so called Slicers launched an attack from Pyro onto civilians in Stanton. This prompted Frontier Fighter to launch an initiative to make an attack on Pyro and wipe out Slicers and other gangs.
Now that we are in Pyro, have you seen any Slicers? They do not own any outposts or stations. You'd think they would have a decent presence after the kind of attacks they pulled. Yet, they were nowhere to be seen, until..
If you had done the Phase 1 Headhunter contracts, one of them was "Attack Frontier Fighter supply lines". Sure, you think, makes sense. However, if you scanned the cargo ships you were tasked to destroy, you would notice they do not belong to Frontier Fighters... They belong to Slicers.
So why are Slicer ships located in an area and contract that is assumed to be Frontier Fighter owned?
I believe the whole Slicers thing was a front to create an excuse to invade Pyro and take territory by force. There are some hidden agendas here at play, and I suspect the fight for Pyro isnt over just yet.
