My current doubts/mood about Sonos

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to create this post and talk about my current perception of Sonos and therefore worries.

I have a nice beam gen 2, sub mini and 2xera 100's setup. I have 2 era 300's as a stereo in my bedroom i use for music but also my fire tv stick (to a projector) connects via bluetooth for great stereo movie watching from bed. I have 1xfive in office and 1xfive in the kitchen.

I fell in love with the system for it's modular structure and mix and match nature and of course also being able to upgrade. I am not an audiophile but i can tell difference in quality and although sonos is not a hifi system (for most), for me it's great and enjoy the sound and quality.

I have been playing with the idea of sonos arc ultra update for a while for my HT. I was also very excited about pinewood box which will might be a good replacement to my apple tv (it's quite old) and let me do cool things like adding left right speakers to my HT system etc...

now i look at the situation as.. ok... i wasnt effected by app fiasco (yes i am lucky) but people complaining arc ultra with era100 surrounds (issues with 5.1 and arc ultra overcompensating and not being acknowledged by sonos properly... Or leaked price of 400 usd for pinewood box and it's operating system is based on a ad company etc...

i start to even question... hmm.. should i wait for samsung q990f release , see the reviews and replace my beam gen 2 setup with that and keep the rest of my speakers...

anyway.. like i said, this is just a slight frustration coming out and a bit of loosing hope on sonos even though i joined the club last year and i bloody love the products. they are really good and love the sound. it's just things started to make me worry more and more which i know a lot of people out there already talking/talked about this...
