VR->triples->ultrawide?

So right now I have a rig that I’ve been running VR since I got it set up years ago. I am envious of how easy it is for people outside of VR to be able to just jump in the rig and go.

For those who have tried both, (knowing the grass is always greener) what was your experience? Is it worth the whole setup and reduced FOV for the immersion and stereoscopic depth of field to stick with VR, or is it better to just be able to jump in and drive? Is it just “jump in and drive“?

Any thoughts would be helpful, thank you!
