Where the fuck is everyone?

I just drove around College Ave and Easton and it is just so striking how there are so few people out and about. It looks like a documentary on the social landscape of a cold eastern bloc country. On a more serious note, I have been here for a considerable amount of time and I just feel like it's so hard to socialize and find people who I vibe with. Any advice?
