Does Adding thca diamonds strip smell/ rearrange terps ??

I buy thca (blue river) from dispensary warm on my press till I get a slab then chip and mix with rosin.. a few days later all the lovely smells from my flower rosin in slashed so much like 1/8 of original smell, I pressed one called cherry on top stank wonderfully 2 days after thca just bla so I’m just wondering who knows the science or….
