Chances of getting into Med School

Hi! So, I am currently a grade 11 student in Toronto, with a 96 average in the Ap program (which I am considering dropping next year so I can get higher grades). I have done a co-op placement at a pediatric clinic, and another short one at a pharmacy. I will be applying to mac health sci, life sci, and ibiomed, queens hsci, and western med sci. I’ve recently been reading a lot of posts about the crazy ECs needed to get into med school, and I’m kind of freaking out about it. How hard is it to get these experiences?? And will I even have a chance to get into one of the top “premed” undergrads?? Let’s say I end up going to western for med sci, will there be opportunities there that will be able to get me into med school? also do I have to get a job? any responses are so appreciated 🩷🩷
