Convince me to keep watching Horizons?

So I’m on the second episode, and I really can’t see a reason to keep watching. Everyone’s ranting and raving here, but it literally feels like they decided to make the worst show possible…? The pacing is awful, I don’t know the characters at all, there are so many plot holes ??? Like for instance why didn’t the villains just straight up chase that charizard after it saved the mc? And when did sprigatito learn leafage? I just feel like the main character isn’t very likable and isn’t established well. Also why don’t we see anything from her school? Also where were the guards/teachers when she was fully attacked by this grown ass man?

I love pokemon a lot, and I’ve watched many of the other series, but this one is just… what. Please convince me wrong, should I keep watching and does it get better or not
