Riviera - Why?? - a

Dad 70 surprised my brother sister and all our families with a trip to see Phish at the moon palace.

But, very long story, it's my dad. Some how he booked through the hotel's elite program which seems like is a scammy time share thing, and not through Phish promotions and we don't have wrist bands to get into the show. We just have wristband access to the hotel. And he spent like 6 thousand dollars per family. The hotel says we can buy tickets through them but it will be an additional 4 thousand per room. For a total of 10 thousand each family.

Long shot, but does anyone have a suggestion on how to get a reasonable price wrist band or otherwise enter the venue. We are all here, if not I guess we will be listening from the beach on the other side of the fence. Which, you know. Is still kinda cool. It's great to be out of the cold back home near Philly. Hope to see some of you here. Feel free to PM me any info too.

UPDATE:  BUG it doesn't matter. Lol.  I'm Talking to everyone I can casually, to see if anyone has an extra  band onsite maybe some people are leaving early.  **However, Over last night the dreaded Mexican stomach bug hit my family hard.  Wife, baby, Mom and the eponymous DAD -- all wretching , experiencing everything you might imagine that comes with that.  So we are less inclined to try to buy something on Cash Or Trade and more inclined to take it easy hearing what we can from the beach.  I'm going to spend the rest of the afternoon trying to find a 100x staff member just in case.  Trying to keep a chin up and have a great time whatever happens.  It's really fun seeing all the smiling faces of people heading to show and a 7 year old gave us some Phish/humans stickers he made.  Wish us luck.

Update 2: just talked to one of the Phish staffers at check in. 100x events did Mondegreen not this. Whatevs. So they can get bracelets for friends and family of the organization, and they sell packages. Also, she said you can buy tickets from Palace Elite. Which are the people who sold my dad the cheesey membership with the false promise of cheap Tix which they have for $1950 per person. So... Looks like the other options are the on3s we will explore for when everyone feels better.

Update 3: So, we have found some good options for entry. The option I hoped for in all truth was that someone from the Phish organization would reach out, mostly because I wanted to make them aware of how people are getting - if not outright scammed - at least misled by the time-share elite membership thing. In the end, with a big group with 2 infants, it was the right decision to just Surrender to the flow on this one. If anyone is leaving early and wants to sell their wrist band, we are takers... But other wise -will check back once more after the show and let everyone know how it went down. Thanks so much for the tips and well wishes.
