5326 - 5 days in review

Firstly, people really need to chill with the Aquanaut/Nautilus train. They’re nice, but they’re not the true gems of the brand. I have enjoyed my last two purchases - the 5738R and 5326G waaaaaay more than my last two sport pieces (5168 and 5980).

I’ve been having so much fun with the 5326. It’s classy, sporty, bold, and elegant put together. The case/lug profile is so nice. The Arabic numerals POP. The yellow numerals/hands/indices are a treat, giving a nice vintage vibe. The dial is epic. While I agree it’s not for everyone, Patek can make a good dial. Pops in morning and night conditions. It’s a big boy - might not be for you if you have a small wrist. The weight is on point - not too heavy and not too light.

Lastly, THAT MOVEMENT. Perfection.

Cheers.
