What happened to NSFW reddit and where to now?

So this is not new but it continues to confound me - what happened to reddit? This used to be a heaven for NSFW promo. I remember thousands of people being active in the big subs at any point. I know there were some changes a few months back that probably cause this, but the change in numbers is still staggering. A sub with 2.6 mil users gets at most 100 online users??

Where do you do promo? Twitter doesn't seem to do anything for me - hundreds to thousands of views a day and hardly any new subscribers to even my free OF, let alone the VIP one. And bots are just overwhelming on twitter. I will not call it X.

I've heard telegram is popular but I just don't get it and it looks too confusing to get into. Tiktok and IG are insanely sanitized and tiktok keeps finding people I know in real life even when I block all the contacts.
