Lagging Arms Tips
Will try to keep this concise.
Basically, my arms are by far my biggest limitation and lagging muscle group. I really do feel like I'm doing everything right (could always use more food tho), but arms are just always stubborn. I've been training for 3 years and have seen and continue to see excellent progress in all other muscle groups. The problem is that I feel my other muscle groups are now starting to overpower my arms, especially my shoulders and chest overpowering the arms.
Here is what I have already implemented for the past year and yet I still continue to see painfully slow gains:
Dedicated arm day. Arms have their own dedicated day
Full range of motion on every single arm exercise.
Slowing and controlling the eccentric, especially in its most stretched position.
I have started including close grip bench press. What rep ranges do you guys do for close grip bench? I have been focusing on higher rep sets, but maybe I need to try low rep on close grip?
I am looking for tips from people that have also struggled with stubborn lagging arms, any advice is appreciated!
