should I switch to psylocke?

i have played spiderman a lot recently, and almost always did very good. in quickplay. now I am kinda afraid to go into ranked plat 3 with him, because from players of higher ranks, I always hear how terrible and easily countered he is, so I think that i will run into problems sooner or later. so, should I switch to another dive dps, preferably psylocke, or stick with spidey? I played psylocke a few hour at the starts of s1 and in s0 in general, so I got some experience
