Takumi: Borderline Personality Disorder?

I finished watching First Stage today, and i’m trying to figure out if Takumi was supposed to have a personality disorder/be a sociopath or what is going on, dude is just emotionless the entire time. Cold, calculating, zero response to any situation, be it a dangerous scenario while racing or while Natsuki is flirting with him.
