My hamster wants to be stinky

I got my hamster a week ago (18th of December 2024) and it hasn’t used the sand-bath.

It knows it exists; it’s walked in it and I’ve even placed it inside and sprinkled some sand over it but it doesn’t care.

The type of sand bath I own, which you can see in the photo, doesn’t seem to be an issue as I’ve seen many suggest/own it.

I’d like advice - is there anything I can do to help? Should I help? Should I be concerned?
