2018 f150 10r80 drain and fill @117k

my 2018 f150 with the 10r80 has never been changed (since I bought it at 80k miles). Currently, the truck has 117k on the dash and has the typical 10r80 clunkiness but no slipping. Because of my mileage, I've heard people say to do a drain and fill (+ filter and gasket). would this be safe to do or should I leave it be since I have over 100k? I know ford says do it at 150k but that seems a bit of a stretch. give me some advice below thanks!

Update: Costed $358 and now my transmission shifts amazing and very happy with it
