Why do "Your fun is not my responsibility" people have a whole lot to say about people going next on first hook ruining their fun?
The "going next epidemic" has been thrown around a lot in recent months by people who play survivor only, killer only, or both sides equally as well as some prominent content creators. These same people (we know which creators) will frequently defend some egregious playstyles as "your fun is not MY responsibility. I do not care if you have fun or not. Leave me alone for playing how I want to!"
Yet these same people see a survivor go next on first hook, deciding that their way of having fun is by going next into a new game with a new situation, and these people will get furious. "HOW DARE YOU GO NEXT AND RUIN MY FUN! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE! BLASPHEMY!"
So when you play a certain way that is very obviously not fun for anyone but yourself it's perfectly fine because "not mah responsibility!" but when someone goes next on first hook or DCs and it's not fun for anyone but them, you're ready to go on a crusade about why they should feel guilty for not caring about your fun.
Make it make sense?
