Might be relocating ..

Hi all! My work just informed me that they might need to relocate me and my family to Dayton. I've been to Dayton twice for 2-3 days at a time but that was years ago and I was just there as emotional support for a friend who was meeting long lost family members. So, not really anything in town. We would be relocating from Arizona to the Dayton area, probably closer west. Is there anything you can tell me about Dayton? Suburbs to try to relocate to? Ones to avoid? Schools? I have a 2 year old and a almost 6 month old, so anywhere with parks/kid friendly areas? I'm super nervous, we don't know anyone out there but we're left with very little choice. Hoping to give our littles have the best life possible! Thanks in advance!

• ETA: how widely available are in-home daycares? They're everywhere here and honestly we prefer them over centers. We had rough experiences with centers here. But maybe things are different out there?
