What are your Costo symptoms like? Do they sound like mine?

Hey everyone,

I’m new to having Costo. It started back in September of last year. I was having some stomach issues and major anxiety about it, ended up being IBS but the Costo symptoms made it more difficult to deal with. I had an ultrasound done of my gallbladder and rest of the abdominal area.

My pain is short but sharp, sometimes it’s a pinching sensation that worsens with movement and is localized to one small spot. It’s mainly right sided by my ribs, but sometimes spread to my upper stomach area and sternum. It can be felt on my upper back. Pain comes when I sleep on my stomach in my right rib area or if I sleep on my right side I also get it. Sometimes coughing irritates it as well.

Heating pad and ice helps a lot. But is it normal for it to last so long, stop for two weeks and then return? I’m worried it’s something worse. :(
