Are you mentally prepared for the new series/season to only be 8 episodes long?

Buffy seasons after Season 1 were 22 episodes each.

However modern TV (and by that I mean streaming shows), usually only have 8 episodes seasons, sometimes 10 episode seasons if they're being generous. So when the series finally starts, do not expect 22 episodes to air over a year like it's 1999 or 2001.

We'll get 8 episodes for a new season, possibly 10 if they're generous, and then we'll have to wait 2 years or so for a second season. At best, we'll get 3 seasons over 5+ years.
