Julie Taymor Miniseries - Would You Dig?

I'd dig it! And it'd be a shorter one.

We're talking

Her guarantor is The Lion King Broadway musical, which has made, um, Avengers Endgame money, and is one of the most successful pieces of entertainment produced, period, ever.

Titus - 1999 - gonzo Shakespeare, his most violent and not an often adapted title. Critically-liked. Does feature Jessica Lange as Queen of the Goths.

Frida - 2002 - Oscar-loved, culturally much discussed, makes decent money/fairly broadly seen. Diego Luna maximum cutie-pie. Good time to rehash Norton's whole deal, hoo boy.

Across the Universe - 2007 - Most important metric here is how much my college pals sure did love this thing! Boy did they buy that dvd and soundtrack. Her blank check cash-in? And one that made a lot less money than I'd have guessed. My college friends were all pirating it, I guess.

The Tempest - 2010 - a curio, and very much so everyone wanting to work with Taymor. Wildly stacked cast - for real, take a peek at that cast. Funky if not very good. Combined with Turn Off The Dark, her plummeting from favor era.

The Glorias - 2020 - *Note: Does not rhyme with The Borgias.

And of course, we know what at least one ep of the Patreon would be devoted to, and boy would it be a fun one.

Finally she is longtime married to Elliot Goldenthal, composer of many a film, including S.W.A.T. And to that, I say, this miniseries would have at least one hondred MILLION listeners!
