God dammit JD Amato

Every time he's on the show he blows my damn mind with a mini-master class on some cool-ass thing I never knew existed but locks something into place for me in a major way. The insane lens technology in Coraline, combining the different animation styles in The Boy and the Heron, now the "cloud box" practical effect in Close Encounters (and, apparently, every 80s movie).

Movie production has absolutely nothing to do with my daily life but when he talks about this stuff it makes me want to run away and become someone who needs to know and use this info.

Also David performatively not caring about JD and Griffin's rhapsodizing about various giants in their fields is becoming one of my favorite bits.
