Struggling to come up with a majority answer on him, any ideas what breed?

He is listed as Malamute but the workers at the shelter are very certain he isn’t. Some redditors so far stated he could be Keeshond, then elkhound, and then potentially something else entirely. I have no clue lol. Trying to do research on his breed as I have an elderly cat and am trying to take that into account.
