How can Wealthsimple run all of these expensive promotions? Are they going Public?

Hi everyone,

I'm just curious how a company can run these sorts of promotions where they give such large incentives? I suspect maybe in the long run it may be worth it, but that's a lot of budget/capital upfront.

I know Wealthsimple is owned by Power Corporation, so they have deep pockets, but is this sustainable?

I'm wondering if Wealthsimple is thinking of going public, which is why they want their AUM way up.

Does anyone have any insights on this?
