Help me choose my degree

I know nothing abt the industry but I really want to get into game development!! Should I choose computer science or software engineering!!! I can’t start til August unfortunately but want to think ahead. Also since I know nothing is there anything I should do before August to help me out Also if I do SE should I do Java or C#
