The fifth-generation Toyota Avalon (Touring) shares its adaptive variable suspension with the Lexus LC and the fifth-gen Lexus LS.

When the 2019 Toyota Avalon first revealed at the 2018 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, it was announced that it had an adaptive variable suspension for the Touring grade.

The Avalon was often referred by some as a Lexus with a Toyota badge, and the fifth-gen Avalon (Touring) even borrows the same adaptive variable suspension (AVS) that's used in the Lexus LC and in the fifth-gen Lexus LS.

Which is absolutely bonkers to see in a Toyota and in a FWD platform, as well.
