when we start to think about getting a website, the first thing to hit the mind is, should i get a wordpress website or custom website.

both ways are great, it solves the problem of website but still there are few things you should consider before you decide anything.

wordpress:

pros

-fast, the development will be a lot faster

-affordable, there are so many good developers who charge very decent and deliver work

-easy for you, especially if you are from non-tech field, you will do the basic stuff of maintenance.

cons

-there can be customization limit, you depend on plugins on which you don't have 100% control.

-performance issue, Using too many plugins can slow down your website, affecting user experience and SEO. everything we want is user should be happy, if your website loads slow, they won't be!

-not a good option for large or complex websites, if you are just starting with low budget, choose this but later at one point you will mostly require shifting to custom.

Custom:

pros

-complete design control, basically you control the entire beauty of your site even at backend things.

-performance, custom sites are best in terms of performance.

-You have full control of all website aspects.

cons

-budget, you need to spend a good amount to get it done.

-time, development takes time.

-maintenance, you will require a developer for even a small change.
