How would you feel about this scenario?

I bought a bottle of Glow Recipe Dew Drops in April of this year. I've kept them in a cool, dry place not in the bathroom. Lately, I have been using it and have noticed that the smell is way off. I reached out to the company because I'm obviously past my Sephora return date, but the drops are supposed to be good for a year opened. Customer service told me that they are definitely not expired. I told them it smells horrible and they said to try to get Sephora to refund and sent me a link of Sephora's refund policy. I feel disappointed and sad that customer service said through multiple emails that they aren't expired even though I can tell that they definitely are. How would you feel? I'm boycotting the company now.
