Rivian vs. Tesla cold weather range predictions

My MYLR absolutely sucks at cold weather range predictions. Not as bad as my previous 2018 Model 3, which was routinely off by 40%, but bad:

Yesterday, outside temp 4 degrees, our Model Y encouraged us to leave a supercharger in Northern Michigan, predicting a 10% arrival charge. We instead continued charging (which some superchargers will not let you do) until the arrival predicted charge was 20%.

It wasn’t nearly enough. We had to drive over an hour with the heaters off and at 15 miles an hour below the speed limit (annoying countless drivers) in order to reach the next supercharger.

I’ve had it with Tesla and its CEO so I’m eager to switch, but are Rivians any better at this?
