Update vs PXPlay

How is the video quality after the new update vs PXPlay? I had the PS Portal at launch but returned it due to poor image quality compared to PSPlay/PXPlay in the Logitech G Cloud. I loved the ergonomics though and was waiting for software updates. Has anyone compared the two?
