Loki killed his father to get a legendary devil fruit passed down through the Elbaph Royal Line. Loki says he is the "Sun God" who brings the world to an end.

A question arises, what Devil Fruit did Loki eat?

Loki is the Trickster God in Norse Mythology

  • Loki can shapeshift
  • Loki can create illusions to trick his enemies
  • Loki caused disruptions, havoc and death on purpose
  • Loki was tied up until Ragnarök

Did Loki eat a Devil Fruit that gave him tricking abilities?

Trickster Gods are also known for being:

  • The God of Stories (-> Fables)
  • The God of Reversal
  • Elbaf is the reversal of Fable phonetically*

\Elbaph is pronounced "Elbaf". In Japanese, it is written エルバフ, which is pronounced "Elbaf"*

Does the name of the island hint at the legendary Devil Fruit of God Elbaf, with tricks, fables and reversal?

Hito Hito No Mi, model Elbaf, the God of Fables and Reversal (Trickster God)?

This Devil Fruit would allow Loki to shapeshift into animals and creatures like Jormungandr and Fenrir.

Loki resembles Jango, the Hypnotist

Jango was in Usopp's introduction arc, while Loki is in Usopp's most expected arc

Will Loki have a similar ability to Jango's hypnosis, the "tricking" ability of the Trickster God?

If Loki has such a tricking ability, it may explain why his eyes were bandaged

If Loki can create illusions to trick Elbaph, Usopp may be the solution to counter that and help people not be fooled by these illusions!

This could help Usopp be proud of himself and become a brave warrior of the seas!

  • Usopp countered Perona's tricks (Negative Ghosts)
  • Usopp saved Luffy from Sugar's tricks (toys)
  • Usopp did not get fooled by fake Straw Hats either

Usopp may also be the solution against Loki's tricks!

Usopp is the master of the lies and he won't get fooled that easily, he may be able to counter Loki's tricks and help other people in Elbaph

Loki says he is the "Sun God", will he shapeshift into Gear 5 Luffy to trick people?

Bonney could mimic Nika, will Loki impersonate Luffy to trick Elbaph and bring the end of the world?

Elbaph may feature Luffy vs Luffy, like in chapter 478! A war of "Gods" like in Ragnarök!

In chapter 478, Oars thought he was Luffy and fought like him and interestingly, Loki was chained up like Oars. Will Loki also impersonate Luffy?

As a conclusion, I believe that Loki has the Legendary Devil Fruit of Elbaf, which involves fables and reversal!

Usopp will hold a significant role at countering these tricks and Luffy may be the final answer to defeat Loki!
