The "Don't do drugs" era of schools was wild.
Did anyone else's school spend waaaaaay too much time on "don't do drugs?" They made it seem like there were drug vending machines in every convenience store.
We had to write a three-page research paper about an illegal drug in middle school. They made a big multi-class coordinated deal out of it. The research paper was a long project in English class, which went with lessons in science class about why drugs are bad.
(Not going to lie, I wish I had my paper I wrote in sixth grade about cocaine and why it's bad for you. One of my friends got assigned mescaline.)
