Next Logical Job(s) for a Control Account Manager

I'm sure I will hear it on this sub as I have on other subs before, being a CAM isn't a role it's a part of a bigger role.

I'm currently working for a software development agency who specializes in DoD contracts. TS clearance granted, 5 YoE. However I hate software. The in's and out's of project management of it all has been a brain drain for me. How can I utilize my current skillset to move back into hardware design/manufacturing?
