LEMUR LP3 Cover (video and features)

LEMUR LP3 Cover first look video (prototype)

EDIT: I forgot to mention that, just like with the LEMUR LP2 cover, this is a cover for people who want to hold the bare Light Phone 3 (without any case) when in use but still want it protected when not in use.

We had promised a lo-fi little video so here it is. I would encourage you to read the info below as well :)

This is a near-final prototype, cut and punctured by hand, so we appreciate your patience as we refine it. We’re currently fine-tuning the dimensions to ensure it feels just right.

The LP3’s design is distinct enough to warrant a new design instead of a simply oversized LP2 cover.

Also, given that the LP3 is a bigger investment, we aimed at designing a cover that offers all-sides protection while going beyond the functionality of a basic sleeve.

Key Features:

  • The Loop: Adds versatility, allowing the attachment of carabiners, rings, straps, and more. It also lets you hang the phone, with a design nod to the LP3’s wheel.
  • Speaker Holes: Inspired by vintage portable radio leather cases, these allow the audio from the LP3’s new loud front speaker to come through. A solution for listening to music while keeping the phone protected especially outdoors where it can be placed on rougher surfaces without the worry of getting it scratched. Ringtones will also play through the loudspeaker so this way they will be easier to hear as well.
  • Card Slot: As it stands, the cover can hold up to three cards.
