Is the booster cookie a good deal?

I'm very early game, around lvl70 with 120 hours of playtime. I currently have 15mil in my bank account, but I don't have a very stable money income and spending 13 million for a, what it feels like, slight commodity, doesn't seem good, considering that sometimes I might not generate 13m in just three days since I'm not really active. What is even the point in buying one? By the way, I made around 4-6mil today, but it's just because I'm more active these days because of the event.
