Seeking Advice: Having a Baby with a cuddly Frenchie in the House
Hi everyone!
I’m currently 16 weeks pregnant, and my husband and I are thrilled about this new chapter. At the same time, I can’t help but feel a bit anxious about how this transition will affect our beloved Frenchie girl.
She’s two years old, incredibly friendly and cuddly, and she feels like our daughter. She’s been the center of our world and gets to go everywhere, including on the furniture and bed. I’m starting to wonder how she’ll handle not being the “only child” anymore when the baby arrives.
For those of you who have navigated this change, I’d love to hear your experiences. How did your Frenchie react to the new baby? How did you prepare them for the change? Any tips for ensuring they still feel loved and included?
I really want to make this transition as smooth as possible for her and ensure she knows she’s still an important part of our family.
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!
