how long should i wear the splint?

hi all! i self-diagnosed at home with the finkelstein test. i won’t be able to see a doctor for a few weeks but i want to start treating my symptoms.

i’ve seen contrasting info online about how long you should wear the splint. some sources saying 2 hours, some saying 24/7. how long did you wear your splint? and when do you do exercises?
