Pampered through Brilliance.
Alright, so let me take you back to when I was in 12th grade. I had no clue what I wanted to do after school. I liked music production, thought boxing was kind of cool, dabbled in photography and videography, and even thought surfing might be an option . The problem was, I was painfully mediocre to below average at all of it. Nothing really stood out. I was basically a background character in my own story.
Now, my mom always wanted me to become a doctor. She wasn’t strict about it or anything, but I had zero direction, so I thought, why not. It felt easier to just go with the flow. I grabbed a random NEET prep 720/720 CD and a book, studied a bit, and hoped for the best. Tbh I gave the effort for an English test paper.
Then came the day of the NEET exam. My friend’s brother,a NEET veteran who had tried and failed at this exam multiple times, started giving me a rundown of how intense it was. He said it wasn’t just about answering questions but also surviving this hardcore entry process where they check everything about you, including what you wear. By the time he was done, I was sweating and Googling the most random stuff like “can shoes get you disqualified.”
Anyway, the exam center was in Vaikom, so I headed out with a relative and a friend. On the way, we stopped for some porotta and beef. But then, chaos hit. My friend suddenly needed to stop and, let’s just say, take care of some urgent business. Now we’re on the clock, and my anxiety is skyrocketing. I start thinking, what if this happens to me during the exam.
At this point, I’m losing it. I’m searching Google for solutions when some random data casually mentions adult diapers. I don’t know what came over me, but I decided to go for it. I walked into a medical store, bought a diaper , found a restaurant bathroom, and suited up.
So there I was, walking into the exam center with a diaper under my pants like it was my secret weapon. Honestly, it gave me a weird sense of confidence. No bathroom breaks, no distractions, just me and the exam. Sometimes life is more about the detours than the destination. And yeah, the diapers too. I wished so hard to avoid making it Rodrick Heffley’s band name, and luckily it stayed fresh.
