Why do bad things happen?

Just to get this out of the way: I’m Christian and I don’t want to offend any other Christian’s , I’m just curious

Why do bad things like disease and tsunamis and earthquakes happen if god is all good? And if god is all powerful why can’t he stop the bad things from happening? They counter each over, cause if the bad things is for the sake of humanity, but people die, then he wouldn’t be all good?
