Need Help

I'm not really a believer. I go to a Christian school right now but haven't accepted Jesus. Something really hard on me just happened and I feel hopeless at this point. Any advice? Scripture I can read? For some reason I felt the urge and desire to find comfort in the word but I can't find my Bible.
