I have too many questions...
I (20M) started being a Christian (Catholic) not too long ago, I will def buy a Bible asap.
But for now, I have too many questions about different takes you guys have :
Some people say that you're saved only by Faith and by believing that Jesus Christ died for our sins and is our savious, while others talk about sins. What's the truth ? Are we saved only by believing in Jesus and by Faith ?
Some people claim that Hell isnt real, while some claim that it is indeed real, who's right ?
Is the religion against LGBTQ+ ? Some people expose the bad translation and how the Bible was used for bigotry while others say that it isnt welcomed. Who's right ? I learned in a French article that animals can be gays too.
What about the deadly sins ? We can all agree that Lust is part of it, right ? But why some people say that you can still repent yourself, isnt the point of a deadly sin being damned for eternity ? Or is it just bad comprehension from me (possible, and I will gladly take my L if that's the case).
I have other questions but I am sure God's words will help me for this, those questions I just asked are based on what I saw in this sub so far, too many takes on too many things, how can we decide ? Is the Church part of it ? Like, if we are Catholic some of these questions have answers who are different for Evangelists ?
At the end, we are all serving God and I want you all to be happy in life, God bless you all 🙏
