opinions on trans dazai?

i personally find it interesting for sure, as a trans person and a dazai kinnie i enjoy it lol (i actually hc that he goes by he/they teehee both because haha projection and also kinda because he refers to himself with the gender neutral pronoun watashi)

like the idea of dazai being trans ftm, genderfluid or nonbinary or something else under the trans umbrella is so intriguing to me and i dont know how to explain it, i definitely dont think its canon because honestly i heavily doubt asagiri would ever drop some bombshell like "hey dazai is trans btw" on us lmao

however!! i am curious to hear out other people's opinions and thoughts on dazai being trans!! so tell me :3
