AITAH for disturbing Gary Cole while his penis was out?

I (M38) was at a fundraiser brunch for the arts and after our meal I went to the urinal. I had not said much to Gary prior to this as I was fairly star struck. He came in to use the urinal next to me. We said some basic “how you doing” type of chit chat but nothing too intense. Then after I finished washing my hands and was at the exit I looked at Gary (while he was still using the urinal) and told him “I just want to say I finally finished Veep and thought you did a great job”. He seemed surprised by this and seemed a bit uncomfortable but was very friendly and said “thank you”. AITAH for possibly putting Gary in an uncomfortable position during his personal time and while in a compromising position?
