Question about UB820 HDMI Output Modes

New to the UB820, and LOVING it so far! I have a question about the audio output via HDMI.

As I understand the settings menu, if I connect the HDMI (AUDIO OUT), then the HDMI (VIDEO OUT) should be video only (as long as the "HDMI (VIDEO) Output Mode" is set to Auto). Right?

I have my UB820 set up with two HDMI cables, one going to my TV (Video Out) and the other to my soundbar (Audio Out). My TV and soundbar are also connected via HDMI using the eARC connections. Currently the audio from my UB820 plays on either input source on my soundbar (eARC or HDMI). For what it's worth, I would prefer if there were no audio signal being sent to my TV, so I (or my family) wouldn't forget to change the input on the soundbar when firing up the player.

Maybe I am misinterpreting the menu options, so I am just wondering if the behavior I am seeing is to be expected?
